Imagine a sunny, happy world where everybody is always smiling ... we actually have that technology today!

Well, we have the technology in our cameras to recognize smiles, and the camera won't take the image until everyone is smiling ... that is a good start!

Henri Cartier-Bresson Could Have Been Better

Henri Cartier-Bresson, the father of 'The Decisive Moment' with his compact, manual-everything Leica range finder camera, could have been a much better photographer had he had the photographic technology we have available to us now today!

On the left are various technological advances that certainly would have helped Henri to be a much better photographer than he was!

We can only imagine now today just how much better these two images would be had the women actually smiled for Henri, allowing the camera to then automatically take the picture! With today's 'Smile Detection' technology Henri wouldn't have missed that 'decisive moment' when everybody was smiling!
