Bill was weaned on photographic developer. Shown is an early photo of Bill, before the age of two, sitting on the corner of the kitchen sink with his dad holding up a roll of wet, freshly developed negatives for inspection.
Bill started his photography hobby at age 7. The family business was 'Kellett Photo' with 4 retail camera stores and photo studios, so it wasn’t a surprise that by the age of 14 Bill was an apprenticing photographer under the tutelage of his father, Ron.
Bill 'retired' from professional photography in 1989. His photographic hobby was reborn in 2003 with the acquisition of a digital point ‘n shoot camera.
Enjoying many photographic disciplines, some of which are: film - Horizont and DW Stereo Realist 3-D photography. Digital photography today allows Bill to explore the world of abstract, time-lapse & infrared.
